Emily Rose Finn is a national news anchor and correspondent. Unconventional is the best way to describe Emily’s path to becoming a news personality.

Now based in West Palm Beach, she is able to adapt within a rapidly changing industry. Emily’s reporting has brought her to every corner of the U.S. and even internationally.

Current trends show social media clickbait and AI chatbots are threatening the integrity of journalism on a massive scale. Emily’s skills bring the news back to basics.

She writes, produces, video edits, reports in the field, anchors in studio, interviews the people making headlines today, has an on call mentality and digital-first mindset.

The news never sleeps. Emily is someone you want on your team.

Meet Emily…

Real America’s Voice

After the assassination attempt against then former President Trump in Butler, Pennsylvania, Emily knew it was a moment that would change our country forever.

She moved to the Palm Beach area and found a new home with Real America’s Voice. Emily was one of the main hosts on RAV’s Special Report, a panel show where she notably interviewed Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene, broke down trending topics on the RAV Smart Board, and covered the lead up to the 2024 Presidential election from the anchor desk. She was present at both Mar-a-Lago and the Palm Beach County Convention Center the night President Trump was elected to his second term.

As the new administration started to take form, Emily transitioned to a correspondent and contributor position, reporting on the American Sunrise morning show and traveling to Washington D.C. to report at the White House and the Capitol.

NewsNation

Before moving to the anchor desk with Real America’s Voice, Emily was on the road, reporting for NewsNation, the up and coming Chicago based news network.

She stood out as a solid political reporter for NewsNation, following Nikki Haley and Ron DeSantis on the 2024 Presidential campaign trail. From record-breaking freezing cold temperatures during the Iowa Caucuses to an all-hands on deck breaking news situation when Haley dropped out of the race, Emily has carried her own camera and sticks to chase down the most important stories across the country.

Working out of Chicago’s iconic WGN building, Emily wasn’t always on camera with NewsNation. She was hired as an associate producer to help launch the network’s 3-hour long morning show Morning In America. After two years behind the scenes, producing segments, interviews, smart boards and so much more, it was time to shine on camera once again.

When President Obama was traveling to Detroit, Michigan to campaign for Governor Gretchen Whitmer, Emily’s knowledge of her hometown propelled her from producer to correspondent almost overnight. She then traveled to Newfoundland, Canada to track down the missing Titan submersible. She showcased a family’s dog in Pennsylvania who caught an escaped prison inmate in their backyard. Her in-studio reports on her investigations into Chinese-backed companies buying up American farmland helped inspire policy change. Emily’s reporting has left a last impact.

Newsmax & Turning Point USA

The move to abandon her on camera roots for a producing position with NewsNation was a tough decision. Before moving to Chicago, Emily was representing Turning Point USA as an ambassador and was appearing on Newsmax frequently as a freelance reporter. She also made appearances on Real America’s Voice with Steve Gruber and Tudor Dixon and joined several political podcasts as a contributor.

During this time, Emily traveled to Dallas, Texas where she was a breakout speaker at Turning Point’s Young Women’s Leadership Summit. Her appearances on Newsmax with Carl Higbie gained traction online, especially when she spoke Mandarin Chinese on live tv when discussing John Cena’s comments about Taiwan.

Emily spent this time building and investing in her own home studio, which she has continued access to and has used often throughout her tv news career. It was clear a transition to a larger platform was needed at this early point in her career.

One America News

Where it all began.

At 21 years old, with only one semester of college left to complete, Emily applied for an internship as a writer with One America News Network based in San Diego, California. Not fully understanding the magnitude of the opportunity until she arrived that summer of 2018, she absorbed as much knowledge as she could from her small desk in the corner of the newsroom: Who are the key players in our federal government? What elements are essential to include in the rundown? When is it appropriate to let an anchor know about a breaking news? Where do I find the latest updates on a developing story? Why do the viewers care so much about silly things? How do I write in broadcast format?

These were the formative months before Emily’s life changed forever.

As her internship was coming to a close, Emily seized the moment and was presented with an opportunity on camera before the end of the summer.

On August 4, 2018 Emily became the youngest national news anchor in the country, anchoring an hour long broadcast on a Saturday morning. After that, she finished her last semester of school and moved straight back to San Diego to anchor and write for OAN full time.

She will be forever grateful to the Herring family for believing in her at such a young age and launching her career.

San Diego, CA (2018-2021)

Central Michigan University

Mount Pleasant, MI (2015-2018)

Fire up Chips! Emily’s first job in tv news was actually with Central Michigan University’s student broadcasting station News Central 34 (NC34). The station aired to the local Mount Pleasant community on weekdays. Emily auditioned for and anchored two semesters with NC34, one right before she moved to San Diego for her internship with OAN and one when she returned to complete her education.

When Emily was in college she also wrote for the student newspaper CM Life and was a member of Zeta Tau Alpha sorority.

Due to a fast-track of courses and AP credits in high school, Emily was able to graduate early in 3.5 years with a Bachelor of Applied Arts in Broadcast & Cinematic Arts and a minor in Journalism. This allowed her to start her tv news career faster than her peers.

If you are actually still reading at this point, I sincerely thank you for getting to know me :) Please send me an email via the contact form on this website, I would love to hear from you!

I am so proud to say Detroit, Michigan is my home.

My Dziadzia (Polish for Grandpa) was an absolutely remarkable man. He lived to 100 years old, served in the United States Air Force during World War II and was the most devout Catholic I have ever met in my life. An incredible example and inspiration for his family, as a little girl I would take my β€œTalkgirl” tape recorder (a hand-me-down from my older cousins) and ask Dzia a million questions about the war and his life.

The summer before I went away to college in Mount Pleasant, I turned those tapes into a news article I submitted to The Plymouth Observer, our hometown newspaper. Not only did they publish the story about my Dziadzia, they offered me a job as a columnist at the paper shortly after! It was my first job in journalism, at 18 years old, all thanks to the incredible legacy my grandfather left behind. He passed away the summer of 2025, I miss him dearly every day and I wish he could be able to see how the career he inspired plays out one day. I believe in my heart he is with me every time the camera light turns on.

I have the most amazing and supportive family and my only goal in life is to carry the Finn name with respect and honor. I am a Catholic girl with half Irish, half Polish blood. I love Jesus and rock n roll. I pray the Divine Mercy chaplet to St. Faustina and then go rage in the pit at a concert (I know, talk about world’s colliding!) I’ve seen Guns N Roses (my favorite band, Slash was my first crush) in concert 8 times in 4 different countries and in my free time I’m always looking for the next live show to travel to.

Thank you so much for taking the time to read about my life. It has been a wild ride, and we are only just getting started! I hope you all stick around.
